  • Bethesda Angler Catches Diamond Jim Imposter Near James Island

    $25,000 Diamond Jim Still On The Loose, Challenge Ends September 6

    Annapolis, Md. - The third Diamond Jim imposter of the 2010 Maryland Fishing challenge was caught on August 22 by Devin Singer of Bethesda, Md. Singer was enjoying his first-ever fishing trip near James Island aboard the Charter Boat "Never Enuff," skippered by Captain Shawn Pruitt out of Solomons, Md., when he caught the tagged striped bass. The Diamond Jim imposter, worth $500 in prize money, was one of nearly 600 rockfish tagged so far this summer.



  • Gagliardi Leads On Lake Champlain

    PLATTSBURGH, NEW YORK - Chevy pro Anthony Gagliardi of Prosperity, South Carolina, caught a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 15 ounces Thursday to capture the lead in the FLW Series Eastern Division tournament on Lake Champlain with a two-day catch of 10 bass weighing 39-11.

    WHAT: Scott Bateman of Washington, Indiana, caught a 5-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 to win $2,985 in the FLW BFL Hoosier Division tournament on Lake Monroe. Under cloudy skies he was fishing wooded areas on the main lake with a 10" worm in 2-4 feet of water to sack his limit.
